Video Mosaic · Pro · iPhone + iPad

Hide one part of a video without covering the rest.

Place a pixelated, blurred, or colored region over a face, name, license plate, or other sensitive detail. Choose its shape and the exact part of the timeline where it should appear.

A focused three-step edit

How to pixelate, blur, or cover part of a video.

The mosaic is a local overlay: only the region and time range you define are changed.

Step 1

Open Video Mosaic

Choose one compatible video and open the Pro mosaic workspace.

Step 2

Position the region

Move and resize the cover over the detail, then choose a rectangle, rounded rectangle, or oval shape.

Step 3

Choose the effect and time

Select pixelation, blur, or a color block, set the start and end, preview it, and generate a new video.

Three ways to obscure the frame

Pixelate replaces visual detail with blocks and lets you adjust the block size. Blur applies a fixed-strength soft cover. Color Block places an opaque designed background over the region, with white as the default selection.

The region can be rectangular, rounded, or oval. Its position, size, and active time range are independent, so it can appear only while the sensitive information is on screen. The tool does not automatically track a moving subject; preview the chosen interval and position it for the content you need to cover.

Output and privacy

ClipFlow renders the selected cover into a new video and preserves the source audio when present. Mosaic rendering runs on the device, and the original source file is not overwritten. Video Mosaic requires ClipFlow Pro; its result can continue into compatible video tools.
