What the effects change
Smoothing and skin color effects follow skin tones. Similarly colored backgrounds may also change, and colored lighting can reduce the effect. Sharpness applies to the whole frame.
Fill light simulates softer lighting on skin. It does not use the camera flash. This version does not change face shape or add makeup.
Temporal noise reduction
On supported devices running iOS 26 or later, optional temporal noise reduction cleans noisy footage before beauty adjustments. It is applied only during export; the editing preview keeps the original noise.
