Crop Video · Reframe the Picture

Choose the part of the frame viewers should see.

Drag a crop area around the subject or start from a familiar landscape, portrait, or square ratio. ClipFlow applies the chosen composition across the complete video.

A new frame for the full video

How to crop a video on iPhone with ClipFlow.

Use the frame editor for a custom composition or begin with a ratio made for a common screen shape.

Step 1

Choose Crop Video

Open a compatible video from ClipFlow, Photos, or Files and enter the frame editor.

Step 2

Place the crop

Resize and move the visible area freely, or choose 16:9, 4:3, 9:16, 3:4, or 1:1.

Step 3

Inspect and create

Move the sample-frame playhead to check the composition at another moment, then create the cropped video.

Cropping changes space, not time

The selected rectangle applies to every frame, even though you can move through the source and choose a useful sample image while positioning it. A portrait preset can prepare a landscape recording for a vertical frame, while a freeform crop can remove only an unwanted edge.

The output keeps the source duration and creates a video with new frame dimensions; source audio remains when present. Core cropping runs on your device and does not require ClipFlow Pro.
