Remove Audio · iPhone + iPad

Make a silent copy of a video.

Remove Audio deletes the complete original sound track from one video and creates a new silent result. Use it when the visuals should stand alone or when you plan to add a different soundtrack later.

A clean mute

How to remove sound from a video on iPhone.

Remove Audio is deliberately all-or-nothing: it removes the complete source audio track rather than lowering its volume for only part of the video.

Step 1

Choose Remove Audio

Open one compatible video that contains sound. Your original media remains unchanged.

Step 2

Generate the silent video

ClipFlow removes the video's audio track across its full duration while preserving the picture.

Step 3

Save or continue

Export the muted copy or continue with visual tools, Add Music, or Voiceover / Mix.

When a silent video is useful

A silent copy works well for autoplay displays, presentations, screen recordings with unwanted room sound, or footage that will receive a completely new mix. If only a few moments need hiding, use Beep / Censor instead so the rest of the track can remain.

The output no longer has audio, so sound-dependent actions such as Extract Audio and Speech to Subtitles are unavailable until audio is added again. Core removal and video export run on your device.
