Three levels instead of a target megabyte
Compact prioritizes smaller files, Clear is the default for more picture detail, and Balanced offers a middle ground. All three keep the original resolution and prefer HEVC encoding. The original frame rate is kept by default; for high-frame-rate videos, you can reduce it to 30 fps for a smaller file at the cost of less smooth motion.
The final size depends on the source and selected level. A compatible result may be no smaller than the original. When HEVC encoding is unavailable, ClipFlow may use H.264 and convert HDR to SDR, and shows the actual codec and dynamic range in the result. Compression creates a new video, runs on your device, and does not require ClipFlow Pro.
Temporal noise reduction
On supported devices running iOS 26 or later, optional temporal noise reduction is applied before compression. It keeps the selected compression level and is applied only during export. File size still depends on the source and encoding settings.
